SkillResilience
4 EU

General
Resilience through re-skilling and upskilling for European labour markets in transition.Horizon EU research project on resilience skills for the European labour market The digital and ecological transformation is leading to far-reaching changes in the European labour market. Sectors and regions are affected to varying degrees. This uneven development can favour or disadvantage certain sectors, locations and social groups and thus jeopardise social cohesion.
Goal
SkillResilience4EU seeks to understand how to enhance the resilience of the European labour markets in the face of multiple and compounding crises, intractable societal challenges, and fundamental uncertainties regarding the outcomes of the twin transition. It will introduce a novel way of regarding the combined impact of the twin transiWon and other macroeconomic drivers on the European labour market resilience.
Relevance
The two main outputs that will result from SkillResilience4EU, the management tool for policy makers and the skill self-assessment tool for individuals and firms, will contribute to the adaptation, transformation, and preparation of the European labour markets for immanent turbulence, developing the required skills that future-proof European industries and regions.
